Many of us have connections with those who suffer from Alzheimer’s. In a fast-paced society that is built upon models of efficiency and productivity, we have a hard time reconciling what it means to be a friend to someone who cannot meet the requirements of such a society. While doing some online browsing I stumbled upon a video by a favorite theologian of mine which was prepared by an organization called Memory Bridge who work with Alzheimer’s patients and their families to overcome some of the above described challenges.
