Mission & Core Values

The ConneXion is a people who seek to make Jesus the center of all they do, building connections with each other, our neighbours both locally and world wide, and connecting people with their Creator.

We will fulfill our vision through the following set of values, adapted from Michael Frost’s Exiles (pp.150-151) and summarized by the acrostic BELLS:

BLESS – We will bless God and those around us through the use of our God-given gifts.

EAT – We will live in fellowship by following the example of Jesus in serving the community and in eating together to build growing relationships.

LISTEN – We will listen to the promptings of God in our lives.

LEARN – We will keep learning what it means to be Jesus-followers in our community by reading God’s Word individually and in community.

SENT – We will send and be sent to be the healing fragrance of Jesus as God enables us.
